Welcome to Troop 209

Troop 209 Burbank, has been proudly serving the local
community since 1994…by providing youth with opportunities for
leadership development, outdoor activities, and community
service. With approximately 85 scouts, including 35 girls, Troop
209 is a Scouting America troop, embracing the values of leadership in youth.

That’s right, Troop 209 is youth-led, empowering scouts to take
charge of their activities and hone their decision-making processes.

Troop 209 participates in at least one camping trip every month,
and offers scouts the chance to experience nature, build
teamwork, and develop new skills through fun outings.

In addition to our youth leadership, the troop has an active parent
committee and many dedicated unit leaders who provide support
and guidance to ensure a successful scouting experience for all members.

Lastly Troop 209 is heavily involved with all council and district
events such as Camporee and staffing Haunt On, Rocket
Academy and the VHC summer camp programs!
